CUSTOMIZING AND HUMANIZING
GENERAL BIOLOGY

PROF. ANNE DONNELLY

I joined the biology faculty at SUNY Cobleskill in 1977 and describe myself as a reluctant convert to computer-managed learning. I teach general biology courses for non-majors. The course includes lectures as well as laboratory time. A series of self-guided field trips are the most recent addition to this unique course format. The course is continually evolving and I've included some of my future plans.

A new focus by the faculty at SUNY Cobleskill is our Green Curriculum, which is a coordinated effort to consciously embed the concepts of ecological awareness and a sustainable world in all appropriate courses in this division.

The 2001 ESATYCB conference entitled "Maintaining Genetic Diversity" was a big success.  Acknowledgements and other "post-partem" information may be obtained by clicking here
